Phumelela Park
A multi-tenanted high-grade warehouse and distribution centre was designed in Milnerton and Montague Gardens.
KMH Architects’ successful completion of the landmark 16 067 m² Trade Centre on the corner of Koeberg and Racecourse Roads in Milnerton
in 1995 paved the way for the development of a new generation of large volume / efficiently columned ‘big box’ high-grade warehouse and
distribution centres in Milnerton and Montague Gardens.
Old Mutual Properties acquired all the immediately adjoining erven along Racecourse Road, Omuramba Road and Montague Drive in 1996 and
appointed KMH Architects to design Phumelela Park.
Phase 1 houses eight tenants in 21 972 m² GLA. Phase 2 houses 9 tenants in 37 951 m² GLA. Phase 3 houses one tenant in 6 810 m² GLA.
Phase 4 houses one tenant in 18 560 m² GLA. Phase 5 houses two tenants in 4 999 m² GLA. Phase 6 houses six tenants in 45 571 m² GLA.
KMH’s design has enabled the tenancies to evolve efficiently and cost-effectively since completion
and rental space in Phumelela Park remains in high demand.
